Arizona Literacy and Learning Center Phoenix, Arizona $130,000 To complete their initial implementation of Recognition and Response in Arizona pre-K settings.
Connecticut State Department of Education Hartford, Connecticut $130,000 To complete the state’s initial implementation of Recognition and Response in Connecticut pre-K settings.
The Early Childhood Initiative Foundation Miami, Florida $170,000 To continue their implementation of Recognition and Response, also to serve as a test site for further development of the project in partnership with the FPG Institute.
Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute Chapel Hill, North Carolina $700,000 For continued development of Recognition and Response (R&R) materials; including in-depth analysis and evaluation of project deployment in Miami and Maryland; publication of a project implementation guide; continued outreach and public speaking on R&R; and completion of project evaluation and dissemination of the results.

Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) Wakefield, Massachusetts $250,000 To build out a national network on Universal Design for Learning; to provide leadership of the network at the request of it’s constituents.
Project Eye-to-Eye New York, New York $87,400 For the expansion of a unique teaching model for children with learning differences.
The Stern Center for Language and Learning Williston, Vermont $100,000 For finalization and implementation of a business plan related to an on-line version of their professional development program, Building Blocks.
