The College Art Association (CAA) is taking their show on the road with the intent of investigating how the art scene is being overlooked across the country. In Detroit, their kick-off location, they partnered up with the Detroit Artists Market and Wayne State University to present two professional development workshops. The program receives generous support ftom the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation. It is money well spent. |

In 1984, Louise Lawler was given access to the homes of visionary collectors Emily Hall and Burton Tremaine. Since she initialliy photographed the collection within the context of the Tremaine homes, Lawler has continued to trace and photograph the works through their various homes in museums and auction houses. The 2007 gallery show at Blondeau Fine Art Services (BFAS) includes photographs from 1984 to the present. |
