The 20 Year Anniversary of the Emily Hall Tremaine Exhibition Award (1998-2018) presented a unique opportunity to evaluate, explore and make bold changes to the way we support contemporary art curators and their practice.
We know that curators directly affect discourse in contemporary art, so in keeping with Emily Hall Tremaine’s desire to challenge critical thinking, we seek to support exhibitions, curators’ skill development, networking and learning, and overall field building efforts through a portfolio of opportunities.
